if Morrissey, Roy Orbison and (Less than Zero era) James Spader had a baby it would be this singer... these guys bring hope to the music industry... why they aren't huge yet is beyond me...
Yesss.... Spader.. and we have the hybrid of Casey Neistat and Beavis on drums, Steve Perry on guitar rounded with John Deacon and Roger Taylor on bass and guitar.
This band perfectly blends the old with the new to create an entirely fresh sound. Yes there are hints of Elvis, Roy Orbison, the smiths, the cure, vampire weekend, the killers, etc, but this is something new! And they are so tight in this set. Talk about talent! I have listened to this video on my commute every day since I first heard it because it’s just that good. This band is gonna be huge!!!
77 like Paul anka and Elvis reincarnated wow saw them on cbs got the same feeling when Adam joined queen what a great group guitars lyrics voice on my bucket list !!! Yep still filling up the bucket list things to do places to go books to read new musicians 2024 is a great year 5:22
I'm 75, heard Eddie My Love driving from NC to NJ on U of DE station yesterday. I used the repeat feature on my radio until it would no longer let me and jumped back to live. bcmb will be here a long time with that classic sound and Wes's bright, strong vocals. They need to come to the Jersey shore soon!
Well I'll be damned. I'll be 70 this year and a hard core rocker from birth. I surfed in on a whim, and I actually think this is some good stuff! Like many of you Boomers.....I've seen a zillion live rock acts....some of the biggest ever......and these guys are polished and that drummer.....he's got chops. If I had to bet.....I'd say if these cats stay the course.....they'll be BIG. Good luck to you and God Bless us all!

@@PotelinoSevenno worries man. I found the contact details for their manager on their website and sent him a message. He said that they are coming in the autumn. But there’s no dates announced yet, so keep an eye out for it 👌
In a touch of irony I recently told my husband that this was about the only band that I would pay to see. The very next day I saw that they are touring after releasing "The Future Is Our Way Out" So I just got tix to see them live in Dallas in 9 days. Their album, "The Future Is Our Way Out" is just excellent! ❤
It's like the best qualities of Morrissey + Robert Smith + Roy Orbison blended together with the singer's own style and personality and the end result is so absolutely perfect. I'm obsessed with this band!
Sou do Brasil e acabei de ouvir, por um link que um amigo meu me enviou. Banda foda. Referências claras de Smiths, Roy Orbinson e outras do indie pós punk 80.
I’ve seen them live twice (within 24 hours 😂 - one was at a club and the next day, they performed at a radio station’s live studio) and I can’t stop listening to them! Such a great sound. Can’t wait to hear their new album that is coming out in August.
"Eddie my Love" was the first song I heard by these guys over a year ago...and it is still my favorite 😍...an instant hit that one!🎶🎵🎼🎤🕺🏼 This young man is so gifted vocally ....his vocals soar so gracefully....like butter😎 smooth- amazing!
I just discovered these amazing talents because they’re touring with The Airborne Toxic Event and I’ll be seeing them at the show in San Francisco on October 17th, can’t wait. 💕
Excellent recording of a great band that I would buy as a live album. As soon as I heard them, I searched and found them on tour with a stop nearby. Can't wait to see them live in Sept. 2024. It's not very often that a band this talented emerges in this day and age and until I get to see them live, I'll be enjoying this video. Thanks, The Current.
I just go turned onto these guys today. Really love their sound...modern happy tunes, reminiscent from another era...Think I'll go check them out in LA in a few weeks. Should be a great show!
elvis, orbison, morissey, the strokes, shake it up and you get brigitte with a touch of cyndi lauper. I have to say the singer has his chops down. impressive control of pitch, vibrato, and rubato.
With how short a lot of the songs are on the album, it’s really a shame they weren’t able to include Rearview Mirror, Cosmic Telephone, and I’m Still Here.
Amazing!!!!! Fresh but takes you back. Even naming the band after Brigette Bardot. With an appeal to young, old, and I suspect everyone in between, think the sky's the limit.
Overtones of Elvis, Roy Orbison, Morrissey, excellent!!! Love these guys! They look like a rock band to boot. Hope this co.es back, rap has been played out for years. Bring back rock bands!!!
if Morrissey, Roy Orbison and (Less than Zero era) James Spader had a baby it would be this singer... these guys bring hope to the music industry... why they aren't huge yet is beyond me...
possibly because they're derivative, as you've pointed out...?
@@SusanDoran What can still be done that's not derivative?

You might throw in a little Idol or Bowie sound to his voice.
Yes! A haunting quality to his voice like Roy!

Same! Just got tix for the DC show in September 🎉
this band takes me right back to the end of 1984 when I discovered "the smiths" with the title "what difference does it make?"
Exactly the same happened to me! They're so awesome!
67 here and these guys are my new favorite. Talent has no age.
I'm 62 yr and have wanted the old to stay here and it is still here 🎉
It never left for those who keep looking. That's why I listen to college and indie/alternative radio. These guys are really special, though.
Seeing them live was amazing. If they ever see this, PLEASE RELEASE MORE MUSIC. THEY ARE SO HOT.
I really love them! Wes sounds so much like Morrissey. I'm going to see them in a few weeks at Cafe Du Nord in SF.

So gorgeous and talented young man! Great band!
The best thing in an otherwise horrible year. These guys are amazing

Holly Hotness!!! Fire tracks!🎵 🔥 🎶 Want more, more, more of these jams. New fan alert!🙌🏽
Good simple and sincere 😢😅 praise God 🙏
Your going no where but straight up!!!!
One of my favorite new bands... at times it reminds me of Orville Peck singing for The Smiths. So f'ing good!!! Love them!
I was hypnotically transfixed. This whole set is great.
Great to hear a solid, quality band with Morrissey inspired sound!

How on earth were they able to get James Spader circa 1986 to be their frontman?

I get the Morrissey comparison, but I'm hearing Jon Fratelli from the Fratellis.
dude definitely has a Morrissey vibe, but far less sullen. Digging them
That's it! Everyone keeps saying Morrisey, but you're right. Wes gives off cool vibes without the dour, sullen thing going on. ❤
Didn't expect to see Paddy Pimblett playing on the guitar here

I think I like it.... But I have weird impression to listen an IA which plays a Smiths like
Morrissey
